P. 'Red Hot' (provisional name). I'm not even sure what group it should be in. It's another of the collection of the late Wayne Handlos from the Central Coast of California. He liked to dabble in hybridizing, and after his death, we were kindly given some of his collection. This plant came without a name, but the provisional one was suggested to us. It is certainly noteworthy. It has leaves that look derived from the zonal pelargoniums, and the flowers might have come from the stellars, but the petals are much wider. It's lovely and it flowers well.
