Pelargonium 'Anastasia' is in the Regal Group. As usual the description is a bit equivocal. It comes from the Spalding List, USA, 1970. "Light mahogany-red, top petals medium-sized black blotches, lower petals no markings, frilled." It has either acquired markings on the bottom petals, which is possible, knowing how unstable these plants are, or the description or the plant is wrong. You take your pick. It came from Jean Hausermann's collection about 30 years ago, and she was careful about identifications. I've not seen it anywhere else and have no photo to compare it with. But perhaps someone knows and can let us know.
